hope you have a great visit... how far away is home? btw if i had been in mpls when you went shirtless i couldn't have been held responsible for my actions

I'm, totally NOT recovered for company, much less parents!!! i had to work all day yesterday, took a couple of hours off this morning to sleep in, then my parents met me at work in the afternoon. they're visiting Cali from Denver -- only here until Thursday morn, off to a conference in Anaheim, then back on Sunday. u shoulda been in MPLS -- i'm quite good at sharing responsibility! http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista | |

This is such a sweet thread. And I'm already super-emotional today! I love people who love their parents. My mom is one of my best friends, and when she moved an hour away, I hated it!  We get together every weekend and sometimes we have sleepovers.  (My dad had many struggles in life and made a lot of, uh, bad decisions, so we're not exactly best friends but I try to show him the respect he deserves as my parent.)
Chris, your parents sound like awesome people. I'm sure they know how lucky they are to have such a wonderful son... And they're involved with GLAAD? That rocks.The Normal Whores Club | |

Thanks, U! My parents are great. I'm a very fortunate person to have been raised in a loving, caring, and supportive household and to still have both of my parents. If u love me, u love my parents, because I am very much a product of them. It was great for them to meet my co-workers yesterday!
