I wouldnt argue with u on the Feng Shui. It needs work. The energy is lonely in there But my easel,dressform and bookshelf are hard to work around If you're interested you can send me a discription of your desk (location in the room--from teh front door, etc.) and I can give you recommend Feng Shui cures. They're all cheap. The most expensive cure might be to buy a small mirror or plant, etc. | |

How about pictures? Even better. I can photoshop the cures into them to give you a visual. Remember: Feng SHui is about placement and direction of energy flows--not decoration. So it won't require you spending oodles of money. Send it to my myspace or orgnote. I'm off to bed. Fauxie foot pictures make me want to take care of some business  and call it a night. | |

-Piss Whitney (after Andres Serrano) postcard made by disgruntled Whitney curator when he left  (I hate the Whitney Museum)
-Photo of my co-workers with "Santa" last Dec. at a Herman Miller We Care event in Harlem -photo of my former Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago) co-workers on the Sol LeWitt sculpture in the MCA garden on my last day of work

-postcard of my favorite painting: The Innocent Eye Test by Mark Tansey -picture of Spike Lee from the black tie gala my company hosted last week. I was supposed to escort him to his table but he showed up 30 minutes early and I missed him!

-small calendar with b/w photos of Paris.

really? that's so cool! everyone always asks me what I like best, but honestly I haven't narrowed it down very much yet beyond ancient egyptian & most art before impressionism 
if you don't mind me asking, how are you using your degree now?? i want to go into museum work but i'm not really sure yet how to go about that. | |

if you don't mind me asking, how are you using your degree now?? i want to go into museum work but i'm not really sure yet how to go about that. I love egyptian art, but never had an opportunity to study it much.  I really love Indian art though, especially Hindu sculpture and manuscripts. Gorgeous. That was my "minor" in grad school. And the pre-Raphaelites...and symbolism (Moreau and Redon-->my halloween avie), the Fauves...& the NY school, photography, Dada, crazy contemporary art...there's just so much that I like that it's usually easier for me to say what I'm not really fond of...but even then there isn't much.
