They're promoting the hell outta that show... I even got a little credit-card-sized hologram with info on the show when I went to the movies yesterday. Apparently you can download the first episode on iTunes as well...

From what ive gathered its kinda like the beginning of X men.

It's fab! I "obtained" a copy of the pilot last week.

I was amazed at how gory a few of the special effects were for a U.S. network show. The cheerleader character has a "self-healing" power like Wolverine and at one point, her ribs are hanging out and she just sticks them back in.

I think the most interesting character is the woman with the alter-ego she can only view in reflections.

It's like a cross between Lost, The X-Files and X-Men - but better. It's very, very, very good.

I'm really excited for the show!

Not that they are related, but if I enjoy this show I'm forcing myself to drop Prison Break since it's really a waste of time now.

It wasnt half bad, a little slow but i do like that you are getting the backstory while its going on.

It could have some real interesting twists and turns as the characters learn bout their abilities.

I dont know if its going to take off though cause its a looks like something you have to watch and pay attention to, but ill give it a couple more episodes.

Its a real strange lead in to Studio 60 on the sunset strip, which btw had me aat hello.

I liked Heroes. I'm intrigued by some of the characters. I stuck around for 60 On The Sunset Strip. Not bad at all. They have some good writing. I enjoyed it. Nothing really WOW'd me though.

I had planned on watching this when I first heard about it, but now I'm too caught up on Vanished, which is on opposite Heroes.

i REALLY liked the first episode of 'heroes' last night. it's now going to be one of my two allowed appointment television shows this season.

I really liked it too. So, it's on my schedule.

I totally agree with those who feel it's an odd fit with Studio 60 though. But, what can you do. AT least (for me) they are on the same nite so I can just have one tv party instead of having shows all over the place to watch.
