Does anyone like the "Halloween" Michael Myers movies?

These are my favorite horror movies. I've been watching them all week on AMC and they've got me hearing noises in the house when I'm alone. lol

On the AMC channel (American Movie Classics). They've been running horror movies non-stop since last Sunday. I was referring to the series of movies actually titled "Halloween" though, with the serial killer Michael Myers.

Same here. The third one was horrible. It was so awful, I couldn't even finish watching it.

I agree the third one had no purpose...it just didn't fit the series and it's boring as all hell.

I'm not crazy about them.
But my wife loves the original.
In fact...she's downstairs watching it RIGHT NOW.

I was in the seventh grade when I saw the first one (which is my favorite). It scared the living hell out of me. Movies about witches, monsters, vampires, or ghosts don't scare me at all because I know those are make-believe things and I would never be in that type of danger. However, an escaped mental patient serial killer could happen.

Halloween is certainly my favourite slashers as well. Nightmare on Elm comes second just for trippy story lines and scenes.

But Michael myers is without a doubt my favourite killer.

I liked where they were going with Halloween 4 and 5... then they just messed up the continuity...

Parts one and four are my favorites. Halloween 1 was really creepy, part 4 was more of a thriller but it was really fun to watch and had a good cast.

Parts 5 and 6 made no sense, they almost suggest that the person doing the killing wasn't even Michael Meyers (showing the guy with the tattoo at the end...). I'm glad they ditched that storyline.

H20 wasn't bad; I wished they hadn't cast LLCoolJ as the security guard, but rather went with someone unknown instead. It was too distracting trying to see him outside of his own persona.

The original Halloween was on last Sunday on AMC. It was awesome as ever. That is one movie that just does it to me everytime. I was as into it last week as I was when I 1st saw it way back.

AMC was playing all of sequels everynight this week. I have seen bits an pieces while flipping from the World Series...I have seen most them before but only remembered 2 (the hot tub scene...nasty!), 3 (incredibly stupid), 4 (not bad), and 5 (dumb). H2O was ok...it reminded me of Scream tho.

Honestly tho, they should stopped with the 1st one...None of them come close to being as good as the original.
