Do you ever think about... how friendship is about coincidence...or not.
After three years on the org I only know a few people I often talk with. However, there are tons of orgers that might theoretically be friends... After six months at my 'new school', I've found about 5 colleagues whom I like very much. However there are 80 other colleagues. Can't claim to know them all. That makes me wonder at times how contacts work. It's a matter of coincidence (for sure on the internet), but there's personality and liking someone's 'aura' as well. Sometimes I wonder how this mixture is made.

lots of things contribute to friendships, and maintaining said friendships.
some people met on the internet might start out as friends, then soon fall by the wayside. so yes, i think about that alot.

Friendship is about a reason, a season, or a lifetime.. I believe..
As are relationships. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

If I ever did find myself thinking about this, I'd shut it down immediately, as how is the answer to this question going to get me laid?

So you didn't foresee my ridicule of your use of "colleague"?

And that makes me think about one my student's questions yesterday. 'Miss, can we procreate with other animals?'

If there is, do you think they put out? And that makes me think about one my student's questions yesterday.
'Miss, can we procreate with other animals?' I hope you told him the truth!

So you didn't foresee my ridicule of your use of "colleague"? No. Worse, I still don't get it. I'm stupid, you know.

I'm just being silly, but I really do get where you're going. I really think so much of "connection" has to do with whether our vibrations "click." Some people call that soul recognition, aura compatibility, good chemistry, but they're all vain attempts to describe and quantify something that is so elusive. The Normal Whores Club

Oh, yes. That definitely happens. You need a combination of compatibility, chemistry and willingness to make the effort in order for friendships and relationships to grow. I have learned and grown so much from the people in my life who have been brave and caring enough to tell me how I can better understand them or be there for them. The Normal Whores Club
