I done went and shaved off all my hair!

Once the hairshock wears off, my question will be - keep it or grow it?

Any thoughts or suggestions, especially from the shaved-headed community, would be muchfully appreciated.

i got it done professionally today, just so i can see what it looks like shaved by someone who knows what they're doing.

i asked my hairdresser if i'd be able to maintain it myself, and his answer was very dodgy - he said no, because i'd get hair all over the floor. (translation: yes, it's very easy, but i'd rather you come pay me to do it every week or two)

i guess i'll see what the vomit vs. compliment ratio is over the next few days, then decide if i'm investing in clippers or not...

A few months back my littlest one (he's 4)was playing "barber" and as a result we had to get his hair buzzed to nearly bald.

He keeps asking us "when can I shave my hair off again?" all the time.

I loved your hair before and I THINK I love it still. (the "think" is only cos it's a bit hard to tell from just a few fotos)

I do know I loooooved having my head shaved cos it was so low maintenance. I never had it profressionally done when I was in that phase.

If you like it, I say keep it for a while and then once you are bored let it grow back.

You look cool, especially the grey at the temples. (That is what I see, right?) But why at the cusp of winter!?!?

Anyway, yeah, you can definitely do it yourself, unless you're going for some higher-maintenance tapered effect. Don't pay anyone.

I don't know how quickly your facial hair grows, or how low you plan on buzzing your head. But if you're like me, you'll find there'll be roughly a 2-day window between each buzzing that your hair and 5 o'clock shadow are pretty much the same length and blend especially beautifully. You'll feel particularly sexy on those days.

...Oh, and don't be shocked to find you suddenly look hotter in leather and/or turtlenecks.

Maybe it's the jawline. The buzzed head doesn't work so well with a weak chin. You can end up looking like a turtle.
