THIS IS A PHONY CALL PEOPLE!!!!

About a year or so ago, KTU here in New York had a morning show segment called "War of the Roses". They had Goumba Johnny call people who were suspected of cheating by their significant others, under the premise of winning one dozen free roses. All they had to provide was a name and message for the roses.

Well guess what!

This same guy "Raj"was called with his "wife" (Parvini?) on the other line. Except that the "wife" sounded more Indian than this chick.

And it was the SAME THING. He wanted to send the roses to a co-worker who was his favorite "Buddah call", and when confronted he provided the same exact lines about "using the mouth" and the "periodical" and everything. However the NY one was a little funnier because at the end she threatens to tell the whole family; "..I will tell your mother and your father and your aunts and uncles back in India..."

I can't belive that we (listening audience) were conned.

Since Clear Channel Communications apparently owns both stations, I would assume that the radio disc jockeys were "in" on it.

the thought did cross my mind that i have heard enough people here talking about phoning in to radio stations with made up stories to wonder about this one


i'd still like to show this fucker how tolerant i would be of another woman

yeah, cute, but i would guess fake from the fact that it plays over 9 minutes without commercial interruption. clear the channel don't do that no way no how!
