Does your CV/Resume really reflect who you are, what you have done, and what kind of person you are?

I was just messing about with mine, and came to think that if you had to match up my CV to me as a person, I am guessing (apart from the shoe design clue) you wouldnt guess it is my CV..

Comprende? Did I explain that ok? lol

Mine doesnt really, it just says the facts. The kind of job I'm going into, I don't really want them to know a lot of things about me - if I was realy "myself" I wouldn't get a job.

Ok, what I am trying to say that in my profession and in my CV I come across as a hard working, positive, professional with great skills experience and knowledge

now maybeee... ppl here do not see me like that, and think well maybe I am a bit of a foolhardy bum.. or something lol

I don't think it describes me at all...it's just a list of shit I've done at jobs lol
I mean, I guess it shows me as being an accompished professional...which I could have acheived by working my ass off (which I did) OR by sleeping with the boss (which I never did or will)...so I don't think it really descibes me at all.

I don't think any of us come across like that in life, certainly not on here. Work is 9-5, the rest of the time we want to let our hair down, relax and have fun, and just be human - not professional robots.

We have lives! lol

Hmm.....

Yes and No.

It probably shows my keenness to learn different stuff, should you look at my Qualifications this would reflect that. Otherwise its just a list of stuff I did.

My CV isn't exactly fabulous reading..... sad

no. i don't think it does for anyone.

people are more complex and important than their job. even if they don't think they are.

My CV, which I haven't updated in far too long, is pitiful. All it shows is temping jobs for a few months at a time and not even any teaching related stuff yet. I've never had a full time job for more than 1 year and I'm 25 years old. disbelief

It shows my academic fickleness and past willingness to work jobs I was good at, but didn't love. confused

Never again, God willing.
