Help with Firefox

Ok, I saved a ton of pages to my bookmarks, I kept saying I'll write down the websites just in case something happens with Fire Fox and I lose all my stuff....well...I never got around to it. All my sites I saved are gone...anything I can do?

All of your Firefox information is stored in a profile folder. Sometimes, if there's a problem with Firefox it will create a whole new profile for you, making it look like everything was wiped out. Usually when this happens, the old profile still exists as well.

Your firefox profiles are usually located at;

C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Windows XP Acccount Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

If you cannot see these folders, you will need to go to your control panel, and under Folder Options, check the View tab, and look where it says "Show Hidden Files and Folders" and make sure it's checked.

Once you get into the profiles folder, look for a file named "Bookmarks.html" (or it will be just called "Bookmarks" if you have file extensions hidden).

Firefox stores all of your Bookmarks in one web page file called Bookmarks.html.
