Fireplace ? Do you have a fireplace in your home ? Is it gas or wood burning ? Do you use it often ? How does it make you feel when you sit near it and gaze at the flames ? If you dont have one do you wish you did ? ( pic of mine the other night )

I always had a fireplace when I was younger, and in my last flat I had one again and it was great! I didnt realise how much I liked it when I was younger
Not any more though I definitely want one in future homes

I wish I had a fireplace . It would have helped a lot over the weekend.I live in a building that was converted from an old school to apartments,no special amenities like fireplaces.
My Mom has one that one of my brothers converted to gas. That seems to have been a huge mistake. She uses it much less now than she did when it was wood burning. It has been a life saver for her over the past week, they still don't have any power in her neighborhood. We have a gas-burning fireplace. We've only lived here since August, so we've yet to light it up. We'll let you know how that goes. :-p This one's for you.

I live in an old house so we still got a good ol' wooden fireplace with old-ass chimney too.
Almost had a chimney fire as a result though.

I have a (wood-burning) fireplace. I love it...it's lit right now.
You had a mighty gorgeous fire going the other night by the way, Mach. Look at those colours! "You could say I'm a terminal case/You could burn up my clothes/Smash up my ride...well, maybe not the ride"

We have a gas burning one in our living room...the room is an add on with no
other source of heat, so the fireplace MUST be on during the winter months if we're going to spend any time there. The thing blows lots of heat! We also have an electric one in our bedroom...nice to turn on during my 5:00am pee breaks...the room will be all cozy by 9am! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

She would never move back to the city. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

Or place it in different rooms. I think its an excellent investment, especially with the rising electric prices. I keep it cool in the house and use supplemental heat in what ever room Im in. If electricity goes out. You still have some heat! ..

My parents have a wood burning....a Buck Stove brand I think. I hated it. Sure it may have cut costs, but that thing would have the whole house burning up. I don't get cold easily, so you know I was suffering. They'd use it maybe 3 times a week. The temperatures are still in the 70's here, so there's really no need for any heating devices right now. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
