For the newbies who don't know, i am HIV positive, a fact I found out 4 years ago today.

i used to mark the occasion by starting a thread and just letting it all out, free-form, just writing whatever came up as i rode the wave of anger, misery, etc. last year i really let go and just rode it, and it was very dark and freaked some people out, so this year i was determined to not really mark the occasion, and just suffer quietly.

but you guys started a thread to cheer me up, and it helped a lot. i am actually in a really good mood, which is a first. i am usually pretty miserable for a few days before and a day or two after.

today has been really, really lovely, and i wanted to thank all of you for that.




oooh, and i passed my 25,000 post today too!

omg, you guys are so lovely. I am rushing to get on the road, and don't really have time to respond to all of them today. will do so when i can.

know that i love each and every one of you very much and am very thankful for all of you.

now, i have to get on the road, so that i can miss the project runway finale as we cross the country towards texas.

I remember it quite well... I'd taken an Org break of a couple months and when I came back you'd learned. I remember how much I wanted to reach across the huge distance between us and give you a huge hug then, and I still do now. That hug'll keep, it'll just get bigger and bigger until we meet
