If your husband/wife/S.O. died...

...would you find another?

I have problems with this. I don't like to think of my Phalex with another woman one day. By the same token, I hate to think of him being lonely. And goodness knows he can't clean up after himself. rolleyes

I like to think he's irreplaceable. I would miss fucking, though.
This one's for you.

That may be, but would you try? I mean, this life can get lonely.

I started a thread several months ago about people around me whose spouses had died and or they divorced and they were remarried within a year. It blows my mind....but I digress...

At this point in my life, I think if my husband died (God forbid), I don't think I would remarry, not right away anyway.

I would also miss my sack time w/ my baby. giggle

I am sure I would, but I would not expect master 2.0 to even remotely live up to master 1.0 - it would be impossible

That's a hard thing to think about anyway. I am afraid if Phalex found a new chick, then perhaps she would end up better than CortestheKiller1.0. And then he'd feel like he wasted his time. So many unpleasant variables.

I hate the idea that I may be replaced one day. I don't want any one else popping out Phalex babies or spraying his side of the couch down with febreeze cos it smells of arse. neutral

I am pretty certain ANY ZK 2.0 would be 1000 times better than ZK 1.0
lol
except there are those 3 mini masters that come with master 1.0, which might deter future ZK 2.0s
nutty

True. biggrin

So is that the answer? I should start popping out mini-Phalexes to ward off potential CTK2.0s? I'm glad you have this figured out, dear. confused wink

Didn't know it'd already been done. smile

Right away remarriage would be awful. I mean, that'd be like just having someone lined the heck up for when whoever you were with died. Not to mention, there has to be some significant rebound time involved....

Spats

People say they would never remarry or hook up with anyone again. But you all would and people in general would. People just like to romantisize things and say "This person is the only one for me. My soulmate" blah, blah, blah. Loneliness and the desire for sacktime would take over.

Oh, probably eventually. She's a lot older than I am, and while she's super healthy, I may well lose her relatively early in my life. sad She's not replaceable, but that doesn't mean there aren't other people in the world who are worth spending time with.

Me too! nod

People in my family tend to live a very long time if they take care of themselves (ie. don't smoke, eat right). So, I might still outlive her. And I accept that.

I don't think anyone should be alone, so if one could find true love again, then why not. Everyone deserves real love and companionship.

only if i felt like the memory of my partner was sufficient enough to keep me company in a way no living person could. i know this is possible. i know widowed people who say they still feel as if they're married, or that their spouse is still around in a way only they can understand. i respect that, and i kinda "get" it. but that takes a really strong bond, i think.
