I felt tonight's episode was good in that it didn't raise a bunch more questions for me to stew over for the next week. It made me feel shitty for Locke, but at the same time I'd like to smack his face. Of course, there was a Boone moment which is good for making me want ot have sexual relations. Ehm... But yeah, I was totally serious about there only being 6 fall episodes and then a break until after the first of the year. And I love the hell out of the show. This one's for you.

I find Desmond to be, well, attractive as well. This one's for you.

It was good but strange at the same time, cause the first 2 episodes only dealt with jack, kate, sawyer situation and this one had nothing to do with them. so it was a bit hard to go back. a bit unrealistic but what's new for LOST right?
we learned more about lockes back story.. "not a fan" yeah...ok

OK...my take... FYI this episode was supposed to be last weeks but the switched it up...meaning the time lines are swapped. No real impact except for one small thing.
I liked last nights episode. Most episodes with Terry O'Quinn are usually really good. This one was no exception. The only disappointment is that they didn't show how he lost movement his legs...not that that propels the plot, but it's a BIG fan want to know and to hold back that info for 2 years is kinda frustrating. But as I said that story doesn't have to be told...we just want it to be. We did learn though that Locke has a fault in trusting others to deliver him to whatever (acceptance, finding himself etc), and those same people betray him....yet he internalizes these things as being his fault. WHen the only thing that is his fault is trusting and being naive. One of the things I am digging this season is it's quite dark. There have been NO feel good moments at all. I really dug the way they are bringing Locke back to form as our faithful HUNTER...our mystic McGyver if you will. The dream sequence was probably the best one so far. And the "give me" part of hippie commune was really cool. Was not expecting that. Also see the similarities between that commune and the one on the Island. Visually, it was a stunning episode. Plotwise, not a lot happened...but there doesn't always have to be something going on in order to advance things. Lost is a character study. It's about People first and foremost. For the first time a few things bothered me. Not so much as to take away from the experience. But they introduced a few things I doubt will be explained but need to happen to push the plot along. It was the first real obvious "skipping" I have noticed. 1) How did Hurley find his way back? Really! He found his way back and that should be all that matters. I really doubt anyone would have wanted to see him lost in the Jungle. 2) If the Hatch imploded how did the others explode out? Not to mention damage to the other door and/or any other underground structures. 3) How did Eko survive the bear attack...I mean the bear just drags him for miles and he's not killed nor half eaten? 3.5) What are the implications of the destroying of the hatch? Less concerned about Food and washing machines. More concerned with the electromagnetism as well as most Losties reactions to it being destroyed and wondering what it all means. (kinda skipped over all of that) I was expecting someone to say "thanks for destroying our shower!" Christian Zombie Vampires

[Edited 10/19/06 0:28am] Locke lost use of his legs at some point. He regains use of his legs once the plane crashed. Christian Zombie Vampires
