i used to WORSHIP anything tim burton did in the '80s up through the early '90s, but i think he's kind of a burned-out hack these days. at best, he can still turn out decent character designs. but they all look the same anymore.

I liked Big Fish okay. But actually my highest opinion of him was that he was pretty good and very stylish, so nothing much has changed. My Legacy

Micheal Jackson - Stopped liking him after "Bad" was released.
Prince - Still like him. I just don't want to lick his ass anymore. Janet Jackson - By the time I was in my late teens I realized her songs were more about production and song writting than her actual talent. Jermain and MJ kick her ass. The guy that played the Principle in Ferris Bueller. For obvious reasons. George Bush Sr. (Yes, I used to love him). I thought he was a strong tough leader who served America's interests. I thought he had practical and sound policies. Then I realized I was a minority. That shit changed everything. Mrs. Brady. That tramp! Widrow Wilson. For obvious reasons. shit, the list just goes on and on. I agree with a comedian that said, "I need to hury up and have children, becuase by time I'm ready for them, every name I want to give them will remind me of somebody I despise. "

Dennis Miller on TV: "I don't want to go on a rant, here, but America's foreign policy makes about as much sense as Beowulf having sex with Robert Fulton at the first battle of Antietam. I mean when a neo-conservative defenestrates it's like Raskolnikov filibuster deoxymonohydroxinate..." Peter Griffin:"What the hell does rant mean?" LOVE it!!

I agree with you totally. Can't quite put a finger on WHAT one thing I can't stand...maybe speak above whisper..sing above whisper...taking herself too seriously...becoming weird as her brother...

Prince. Not that I no longer like him at all, but he's become a (seemingly) right wing jerk and a lot of his music no longer moves me.
Even some of the early stuff when I go back to it, just doesn't do it for me like it used to. Bjork. How far can one crawl up one's own arse? Just write some fucking decent songs. Tori's become a bore, too. That's all for now.

Simple Minds too ...
when i was in college --- they were just "getting popular" ... i remember "up on the catwalk" being played by a guy next door in the dorm .... and ... "someone somewhere in summertime" ... and really liking them .... then "dont u forget about me" came out and lifted them to stratosphere ... i saw them in concert ... really liked the next album- Alive and Kicking .... then ... well ... from there ... what ... they did a "live album" .... then ... kinda went downhill ... not really sure why .... i like SOME of what they did ... but ... it is a classic case of someone on the way up ... then drop off the earth ... kinda like TTD/sananda .... altho i still like sananda ...

The only person I can think of is Prince and it's not that I don't like him anymore. I just went from being a young teen that was madly in love (well not love, obssessed) with him to an adult that doesn't really think about him much at all.
