I live near Birmingham and they hold the "Frankfurt Market" there near Christmas, I love it, standing out in the open air surrounded by stalls filled with gorgeous food.....and Mulled Wine.....I ate myself sick last year

They have craft stalls too, filled with all the Christmas decorations similar to what my mum had when we was kids.....Its really cool.

it does! my mum is allergic to tree tomatoes, and she has been caught unawares a couple of times in fruit salads, it is not a very common ingredient. Nuts are something else though aren't they, your mum would have to be so careful

Oh yes !! She has been caught out a few times and been quite ill, She is 73 now so she has to be almost obsessively careful. I forgot last year and bought her a few big bags of Pfefferneusen at Christmas.....She was like until she saw that little warning "May contain traces of nuts".....

Strangely she hasnt always been allergic to them ??? It only came on in her mid 60's..
