Ugh, I don't want to get wrinkles and I don't want to turn 30!!! I suffer from eczema and right now it is so bad. I had some kind of reaction to the soap we use for the glasses at the bar. My hands are all cracked and bleeding and now I'm starting to get it on my face again I had it really bad in highschool all through college, I hope it doesn't come back like that. Hell I guess I'd rather have wrinkles than this shit.

I feel ya Carrie.. I suffer from eczema too.. but its fucking weird, cos I only ever get it in one place on my body at the time.. usually its on my back, but it has creeped onto my forehead now. It used to be on my wrist, where my watch is worn, so I stopped wearing the watch and applied the eczema cream my doc prescribed, well its fulla steroids, and now my wrist is all hairy like a mf monkey, where my right hand wrist is beautiful with soft downy lady hairs.. I am sooo pissed! so now I am reluctant to use any creams at all for my eczema.. esp on my face. I did use a milder eczema cream on my forehead, but the fucking steroids make you lose your skins elasticity, so maybe thats why my forehead s looking so nasty now.. I dont have wrinkles at all really.. good genes I say.. so look fairly young for my age - 35 but I do know that the creams and ointments I have used in the past to clear my eczema have fucked up my skin in another way..

I won't apply steroid creams to my face...no way! I use aveeno and it usually helps the spots I get on my face. But my hands are sooo bad and nothing is helping them. I even slather the vasoline on them at night and wear gloves...nothing is helping. Try the aveeno cortisone cream for your face. Also the oatmeal baths are nice too.

Moderator | I don't have any wrinkles *yet* but over the past year or so... I've felt/seen a real change in my skin.
I'm seriously thinking of getting Botox as a preventive measure. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

REDFEATHERS said: btw, isnt cortisone a steroid cream? I don't think so?? It's sold over the counter. I went to the dr. the other day, she gave me Vanos for my hands and they are clearing up nicely. She also perscribed Elidel for my face and there are NO steroids in it. She told me once my hands are cleared up to switch to Elidel to prevent flare ups again.
