So every year we have a big fire, fireworks, toffe apples plus pie and mushy peas If you get bored you can find out more here http://www.bonefire.org/guy I actually like mushy peas... but I am veggie junkie... I tend to like them all... [Edited 10/15/06 13:58pm]

Holiday Golighty, Traveling (aka Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's)
I love Halloween! I've gone as Holly before and my costume kicks ass, if I do say so myself: I dyed the bridesmaid dress from my brother's wedding black; got the tiara, the long ciggie holder, and the elbow length gloves. I know it's kinda lame to go as the same character more than once, but I say if you got something that works, stick with it. (Last year I did branch out and me, my friend & her hubby were Lisa, Wendy, and Prince. ) The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Does anybodies employers do a "Halloween" dress up for Charity or even just for fun?
We had a "School Days" theme for Charity a couple of years ago - That was really hilarious.....More so as some of the Girls in the office looked hot in School Girls outfits..... We raised a few thousand pounds that day.....and a few eyebrows..... .........Gimme your Doughnut,,,,,,

I don't dress up, but my 9 year old daughter is dressing up as a Geisha. I can't wait to do her makeup! I'm making an elaborate hair comb for her hair today (I love being crafty).
My 10 year old boy is being some character from Final Fantasy. I don't know the name, but I bought some fabric for his costume and a witch-like hat, and of course he has a sword. My 13 year old son is being some character from Naruto. We just made his mask yesterday, and I have to go to the Damascus House (2nd hand clothing store) this week to find some pants and a jacket to convert into this Japanese anime character's clothes.

Since it's probably going to be a bit cold while walking around with the kids, I'll most likely bundle up in my Jedi robes.

Apparently, it has been decided that I will be evil Willow from Buffy. We have a Buffy, a Xander a Spike and then me. I even found the perfect contacts to make my costume complete to look something like this: So what are YOU gonna be for halloween? Egad...I've NO IDEA what I'm doing for Halloween this year. Normally, I start planning a costume in August, but I've been too busy. I'd like to resurrect my Frank N Furter costume from the mothballs...but it's too small now. And nobody wants a Frank with love handles.
