Y'all should come over for dinner :) Amy just came home from work and went straight to bed because apparantly she caught my illness from this last weekend (married people share...sadly for her my sex drive doesn't get ill with the rest of my body) Anyway she told me she wasn't hungry and wasn't going to eat.
The thing is that I have been slow cooking a beef roast since 7:00 this morning and the entire house smells unbelievably good. She seemed pretty down because she had been looking forward to this as much as I have. The point is that I have a 4 1/2 pound piece of meat and I will be dining alone so feel free to pop in. Gosh now the cat is meowing at me. She can smell it and really wants some. I mean she really wants some because now she is pawing at my legs and meowing.
She also wants to go out on the balcony but she is grounded because she keeps eating leaves that fall and throwing up. [Edited 10/17/06 15:25pm] | |

here's some ideas on leftovers...
Make soup with the broth and some of the beef cubed. Shred leftover meat and use for tacos, with cheese, lettuce, salsa, scallions; or make burritos with flour tortilla, add beans, cheese. Can use in egg omelet. Slice for sandwich meat....French dip sounds good. Lots of tasty recipes for leftovers. [Edited 10/17/06 16:02pm] | |

Not sure why they eat things that they're not supposed to. One of my cats will chew on plastic bags if I leave them out. That pot roast looks yummy! RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |
