well- it is still pretty much hot here again after our cold front that lastest 3 days and dropped to a chilly 60 degrees for a low..
As far as wines- I like red wines all year long. I do not like super dry wines. I am not too picky about the brands- I just like to try new ones.

Yeah, when I want sweet wine I drink Port or Riesling. You can also get plum and berry wines, sometimes blended with red (grape) wine, that is sweet, but not as sweet as Port. Nehalem Bay makes a plum wine that is moderately sweet. It's very nice. Icewine is another sweet/dessert wine, though I've never seen a red for some reason. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

Worst wine ever is Thai rice wine - costs about 25 baht (60 cents) for a three or four hundred ml bottle and is about 25-30% alc. vol.
Tastes evil, oddly sweet, and you have to mix it with water. Truly evil stuff

You must try this little cocktail though for a year round red. Half a glass of red wine poured over ice, dash of red vermouth and top off with cloudy lemonade, sounds odd but it's delicious, in fact I have a glass of it in my hand as we speak.
