perhaps not

but he isnt home all day with 6 kids and prego feeling moody

he could have gotten WAY more done then she in the same time frame

i am not picking sides on this at all ... i can see both clearly

wink

he could have, but what makes me think she is right is that michael, uli, and tim also noticed and said the sewing was way better workmanship than anything he has ever done, particularly with the overstitch jeans, which as we learned in season 2, an overstich machine is notoriously hard to do. if he isn't the greatest sewer to begin with, i find his perfect sewing work, especially on the overstitch, suspect.

and he was way shady when turning in the reciepts.

but that's just my opinion

I have a tough one calling this out. I think he's in earnest about doing the work himself due to what is on the line. I think with the added attention, he's going to be outed for breaching some rule...but I think the penalty will far outweigh the crime.

I'm having a tough time resolving the rumors with the way it is playing out on the show. Lara either does or doesn't have credible evidence that J cheated. Calling out the fact that he arrives with everything complete and ready to go just seems petty or spiteful. When he met with Gunn, he wasn't given any red flags that would cause re-evaluating or redoing the work. He has a history on the show of attacking the work & finishing (and letting everyone know) first. Two of the items that he's created (jacket/jeans) are things he's taken on within challenges when he only had the limited timeframe. He's being called out for executing things that are right up his alley.

Not to mention, I could never figure out why people return with so much to do...especially when you never know what curve they are going to throw at you on the show.

Obviously, I couldn't sleep last night.

good points yes ...

though when you have just one day or 2 to sew an assignmet runway item the details dont matter as much becuse of lack of time ... with more time on each item over 2 months it is possible he did better

like i said not saying he did or didnt

all shows focus on cliff hangers and build on that
( the shady reciepts turn in is an example )

Yeah, it's silly. Go to bed hyped up over things you don't control; before you know it you're stressing over not falling asleep, etc.

I guess without Jeffrey, I don't know who to root for now; who's designs I like best. Michael seems to be breaking out of his safe zone; Uli also to a degree but lackluster; Lara seems very insistent on not giving up that green belt. It might be her Achille's Heel...

i am not by any means the kind of seamstress they are but i made my prom dress
lol my graduation dress and tons of clothing for myself and my boys. i have a
overlock, serger, overstitch (whatever u want to call it) machine, it is not that difficult to operate.
im not sure if he had help or not. he seemed not himself when she called him out.

At the tail end of the show, when they were showing previews for next weeks episode, they show Jeff getting some bad news and Uli turning around and hugging him. I don't get it, obviously he did show at Fashion Week, but the ending of tonights episode seems to indicate that he is removed from the contest. Perhaps they let him show but told him he wasn't eligible for the grand prize?

The way they edited this past episode, they really make it look like Laura was out to get him from the get go.

i'm not really bbq crazy. i appreciate and am hella-picky about it, but don't eat it often the way many texans do. i prefer grilled stuff with no sauce more.
