Good day everyone, I just wanted to remind you (especially you Yanks) of Squirrel Awareness Week. There is some confusion as to the actual week of Squirrel Awareness; however, the Canadian and American squirrels I have discussed this important matter with all agree it should be from Oct. 8 to Oct. 14. So to celebrate give a squirrel a nut, a fry, an onion ring, or a muffin wrapper to show them that you are aware of their existance. Although, this is not official in Canada --I have decided to celebrate by purchasing a large bag of walnuts and chestnuts.

Don't forget --they're watching you!

Earlier today,
I saw two squirrels eating each other's nuts.

And here I thought it was because of National Coming Out Day.

Squirrels are excellent workers. They're the only ones who can get the whole walnut out of the shell almost every time!

I feed the squirrels outside my place pretty much everyday. I come out and they are practically waiting there for the peanuts.
