One eyewitness said that the plane was in a steep turn really low to the ground like the aircraft (not helicopter) was in distress

hi everyone.

thanks for the concern hug

i am fine. i am 13-14 blocks from it, and just minutes before it happened our internet went down, and was off till recently.

called muse right away cause i knew people would panic, and knew she wasnt likely to be at work yet and would pick up right away.didnt want to disturb anyone at work.

purplecam should also be fine. he lives in queens and works pretty far from the area. am calling him in a minute, will know for sure.

unfortunately, i dont know where he works or have a way of reaching him other than the org. should be okay, as that was a primarily residential building.

They said on the news just now that only 2 people are dead and they were in the plane. A flight instructor and a student....they won't confirm it's the Yankee guy until the families are notified.

that was really scary. i was in my office, and our internet went down. i was on the phone with HQ our officespace and service provider, and then about 3-4 minutes later the receptionist calls me and says "an airplane just crashed into a building a few blocks from here."

fucking scary.

and of course, we had no net, so we are disconnected and unknowing what is going on.

ran down to the tv in the breakroom and flipped to cnn.

ugh.

and then i immediatly called my mother who i knew would bigtime panic. thankfully she hadn't heard the news yet. she panics when soemthing happens in nyc because she doesnt knwo the geography of the city at all, so she has no ide how far away i am from somethign when it happens.

then i called muse, knowing she would not be at work yet and would pick up.

we were told 9 injured, 4 dead. but i have not checked the news in a little while.

that is a condo building, and when they have those windows like that (small window, long windowsmallwindow) they are usually apartments. i am sure 9s is fine.

yea, we got a bunch of wrong info as it was first happening too. we were told 38th floor was hit by a helicopter.

such is news in the moment.
