Actually, yesterday was the first day that I realised how dark it was at only 2.30 in the afternoon. Something has to be done. Who do I complain to?

it's on the twenties this morning and FLIPPING cold out.

The worst is in the dead of winter when its dark when you leave the house in the morning and dark when you get home. For weeks on end you don't really ever see daylight, other than out the window. No wonder there are so many depressive alcoholics here.

i didn't get to see it snow yesterday. when i was outside earlier in the day i saw these itty-bitty flurries falling, though. and yeah, it's cold outside this morning! they've turned the heat on in my apartment building already.

My furnace is refusing to turn on. It was in the low 50s in my bedroom last night.

Those damn mice probably did something to mess it up.

it's offensively cold in chicago this morning. when i woke up, i immediately felt a wave of groggy indignation and my first thought was "i'm calling someone and complaining about this."

We haven't even had a frost yet.
Temps in the 40's outside this morning...will have to turn the heat on soon. I have zone heating in my apartment so I don't have to keep all the rooms the same temp. I keep the living room a little warmer because we have our birds in there.The other rooms I keep at 60-65 most of the time.
Supposed to get some snow by the weekend.

right now it's snowing in mpls again!
