I just realized that I use my microwave everyday, and if I didn't have it my life would be different. When I was a kid I didn't dream I could get a hot meal in three minutes. Today, microwave is one of my son's spelling words.

I REFUSE to have a microwave.. basically cos I love cooking, and having a microwave can easily make me lazy and unhealthy.. so what I cook, I cook fresh from scratch and try to avoid heating ready made meals up..

So I have no choice, but to cook in my oven or on my hob..

We've not long moved into a new house and I spent weeks saying "We've got to get a microwave". Eventually we got one and I think I've used it once. I prefer food freshly prepared.

But it makes a hell of a difference when you need to quickly heat/defrost/etc things. I'd rather have one than not.
