Another one of my weird germ habits is that after I get out of the shower, I don't really like for any bare part of my body to touch anything that other people have touched. I used to didn't be like this, but now it's just annoying even for me. My freshman and sophomore year in the dorm apartments....I'd walk around barefoot all of the time. I was just carefree about things like that....I miss that. My Junior year, I transferred to another school and got stuck with a very old, but historic dorm. Obviously, the bathroom was old and haven't been remodeled since god knows when. From that point on my fear of germs was born :l(

As I said in a previous post I never touch raw meat when I cook...and I cook all the time. I won't touch trash cans. I haven't always been like this either not sure what triggered my fear of germs and all things yucky

The only time I'll walk around in the yard barefoot is when I'm washing my car and I know I'm getting in the shower afterwards. I love the feeling of grass on my feet. I'm the same with the beach....I know that I'm gonna take a shower, so it doesn't bother me to walk in the sand. Wet sand is the best. I love the feeling so much that I'm willing to compromise.
