I got this a couple of days ago and I can't recommend it enough. It's perfect bedside/toilet/subway reading, and the content was very creatively thought out and put together. even the intro by matt groening is a fun read! the stand-out piece in the book so far is julia sweeney's essay on getting freaked out by reading the bible. it's not bible-bashing, but it raises some interesting questions in a kind of funny, gentle way.

I finished EXQUISITE CORPSE and I'm back to reading HOUSE OF LEAVES. I had to take a break from that one.

EXQUISITE CORPSE, by Poppy Z. Brite, was disgusting.....I loved it!

Yesterday I've read the first pages of a more than 900 pages book by the German author Helmut Krausser, 'Melodies'. It looks pretty thrilling.

I'm quite baffled there seems to be no English translation available. I'm reading the Dutch version, as I don't speak German.

Has anyone read this?
