How do you guys pick what threads to read?

Like, if I click on a thread and it's real long, or it's written with no spaces, I immediatly leave.

It has to be like

kjhkafjhkjfh

afjhafhsdklajfh

afkljafldkjalsdkflaksdjglakdgjlakgjlakgj

Yanno? Or I feel like I have to go lay down.

1) if the title is interesting

2) if I know the person who originated the title

3) if it says NSFW

I dunno... (sorry Number23 giggle) it depends on lots of factors.

Sometimes it's because it may be important, someone's personal news. Sometimes it's something completely BONKERS. Sometimes it's a thread started by someone you know. Sometimes a thread started by someone you don't know. Sometimes it's a thread by someone you know will make you COMPLETELY piss your pants. Sometimes you want to learn things. Sometimes you can't stay away from the Org. redface

Loads of reasons. lol Sorry, that's a lot of somethings nuts but it's just random. All started by you guys.

Either the title catches my eye, someone I like posted it, or someone I like is the last poster.

If it looks like it could be amusing (i.e. interesting title or written by someone who makes a habit of being hilarious) I read it. There are a few people who are so amusing to me that even if the thread looks dead boring, I will open it up if they started it because I know it could be funny.

I also look at the last poster - if I find them amusing I may go to the very last posting and read what they said and read it backward from there if it looks interesting.

If it's a question or a funny little trend thread (like the ask "..." a question threads) then I will open it and sort of browse it to see if it's interesting.

Or, if I'm really bored, I just open up a random thread in hopes of finding something good.

I'll tell you what keeps me in a thread, even if it's long and has huge responses from people:

when people have massive emotional outbursts in their replies. Those threads are the best.

I'm just waiting for Jersey to snap and have one. It's coming....I can feel it in my bones.
