But surely there's a big enough audience for hip hop to support a dedicated station?

But surely there's a big enough audience for hip hop to support a dedicated station? does hip hop deserve an 24 hour station dedicated to it? especially the boring tripe created today? hmmmm. ..

I don't know anyone from Chicago, but I'm sure they deserve something to satisfy their hip hop apetites.

Ive been to Chicago a few times in the last couple of years and there are certainly stations that play exclusively hip hop and r&b there.

There was one on the AM dial awhile back. Not sure if its still there. And on Saturday nights, on station WGCI, its hip-hop from midnight to 5 in the morning. Then it turns into a gospel station.

You mean a city as big as Chicago doesn't have a Hip Hop station? We've atlteast had 2 all the time in the 90s. Working up a purple sweat.
