Ugh!!! Watch where you set your purse!

On the news they just ran a story about the germs that get on the bottom of your purse.

You set it on tables, the floor, your desk, the car, the bathroom, public places exposing it to who nows what. In the story, they took wipe samples of the bottoms of purses and found bateria and germs that could make you sick!

Oh God I do set my purse on public bathroom floors and counters sometimes!
Bad Bad Idea.

We need to be more aware ladies.

Sometimes at public restrooms I have no choice but to sit my bag on the floor, because they don't have little hangers on the stall doors. mad I try to sit it as far away from the actual toilet as possible, but within in my reach so no one reaches down by the door and steals it. lol I never sit my purse on my bed, because that's the main place I try to keep germ free. I won't even get under the sheets unless I feel clean.

I wonder how many folks would worry about this but turn around and walk around their home with shoes on. Or open doors with thier hands, exchange cash with a cashier and then rub thier eyes, eat food.

A lot of people do.....that's why they carry hand sanitizers with them at all times. I think about it all the time to the point where I drive myself crazy. lol

Good for me. I hardly EVER use a purse.

I feel old if I carry one. I just shove everything in my pockets.

lol I didn't carry one for the longest, but now I have too much shit to not carry one. It's small, black, and not too flashy with a little Hello Kitty patch on it. I saw this big bright Wonder Woman bag for only $20 the other day. I had it in my hands getting ready to check out, but then I thought "I barely like carrying my small bag, wtf am I gonna do with this one". lol I might go back and get it and use it as a travel bag, because the regular price was $40. I think my eyes dazzled at the fact that it was a bright yellow, red and sky blue Wonder Woman bag. Talk about eye catching lol I also saw a couple of Andy Warhol purses that I liked....both under $20. One similar to this one.....

actually more like this one....

The other one was exactly like this one

The website is advertising that bag for $30.....I saw it at Ross's for $15.

Seriously, you're fighting a losing battle. The hands you touch your purse with are probably covered with more bacteria than your average bathroom floor. Take care of yourself so you have a healthy immune system and don't worry about it. thumbs up!

oh that's not much....about the same amount that I carry. I just hate having stuff bulging out of my pockets. Depending on what I'm wearing, some days I don't even have pockets.

The tea tragedy

The tale started when a consumer in Cincinnati, the us, thought that the iced tea he had ordered in a restaurant tasted like sewage. He then took the tea to a local television station, which got it tested for fecal coliforms. When the results proved to be positive, the television station did a survey of iced tea served in several restaurants. The tea from all the restaurants proved positive for fecal coliforms.
