Overzealous Photographers

Brad and Angelina it may be time to take a closer look at your security. It’s hard when you’re in the public eye, I know what’s its like when an overzealous photographer invades your privacy. I know your bodyguard warned photographers not to take any pictures, but this is unacceptable someone needs to pull the reigns back on this guy. It is just a wearisome part of being a celebrity–privacy sort of goes out the window.

Those photographers instigate it, then turn around and cry about it afterwards. All the bodyguard did was grab him by the neck and shove him. They're blowing it out of proportion on the news because that's what the papparazzi do. Celebrites are practically helpless against these photographers, because if they so much as spit on them, they're filing lawsuits against them. Why is stalking considered a reputable career?

strict, no-contact laws should govern the 'razzi's ability to torment those folks.

imo it should not be legal to harass or stalk people just because they are public figures.

Tom I agree with you, but you can’t assault people and clearly this is assault

You see the guy laughing afterwards. He wasn't hurt. It's all a big joke to them.

Someone should make a website detailing the lives of these photographers, P.I.s should be hired to dig up embarrassing dirt on them, they should be followed and photographed and harassed in the same way they harass celebs.

A site like that would be hilarious.

I don't really care if they take a picture of a celebrity from a reasonable distance when they are out in public, but it's really frustrating to see these paparazzi swarming cars and mobbing celebrities like that - it puts alot of people's lives in danger, and it's frustrating that cops generally do nothing to curb their behavior.

Law enforcement can only do so much. It's the "gray area" - the Laws that govern the media and such that have to be changed.

Some papparazzi do go as far as they can push to get that one picture that they can sell for biggie bux and will do whatever it takes to get it. Look what happened to Princess Diana rose

Wasn't the recent film about this called Paparazzi? It turned the terrorism angle on its ear and took it to its logical conclusion.

Society values these types of stalkers because of the attention we give celebrities (I type this while at a site devoted to a celebrity).

Demand drives these stalkers' tactics and careers.

A law should be passed protecting the privacy of celebrities.

What if someone targeted one of those photographers, followed him everywhere and take pictures of him at the most private moments like when using the restroom or when he's having sex with his girlfriend?

You don't have to suffer physical harm to be assaulted. That's battery.

Assault is a threat or attempt of physical harm.
"What kind of fuck ending is that?"
