Myspace dating?! Just curious if anyone had ever dated someone that they'd met online...I'm somewhat newly single, and I'm in a grad school type of program that makes it difficult to meet people, and I'm not about picking up slag from a bar. I've heard of a few couples that fell in love after meeting on Myspace, but I'm curious to know what y'all have to say. Occupy Alphabet Street!

i dated someone i met online but this was before myspace though....personally i don't want to go that route again, this only happened one time for me, and i'm still friends with him, actually i was in love with him, but now we are broken up and just friends. i'm about to close the book on our friendship as well for right now because he irritates me. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Yikes! Why would you rather meet someone online than "pick up slag" at a bar, jackmitz? I'd prefer the 'slag' than the net creeps.

I've heard a lot of bad things about Myspace. Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS - Prince "I kind of wish there was a reason for Prince to make the site crash more" ~~ Ben |

you all are probably right about the slag online as well...I just think picking someone up at a bar is sleazy and empty. Occupy Alphabet Street!

It's hit or miss just like if you were to pick someone up from the supermarket or any random place. There'll be the same bullshit you have to see your way through to get to know someone... Online's really no different. Met my ex online. Things went really well for about, 11 months. On the 12th month, I guess he decided it was time to find a new squaw online. We were friends a long time after that though.
Then he turned into a prick. Anyway, why not? If it helps you meet people you wouldn't normally meet, you may at least make some surprising friends and acquaintences. This one's for you.

Nope.
The weird thing is that I don't get much love from the locals. I've rarely dated anyone from Indy. So I just chit chat with folks online.
