At one point when I actually had long hair, I was the only girl in my electronics class. My teacher actually scared me quite a bit since my locker was right outside his classroom and he lived in a building just 5 mins from my place. It was difficult staying out of his way!

It's difficult to NOT get special attention during such times, at least half the class (including myself) ended up doing engineering at uni the next year.
