Saw the Departed today..

Very well acted. Scorceses best film since Goodfellas. Jack Nicholson is a good badass racist mob boss. Leo is awesome and so are Matt and Marky Mark. Also Martin Sheen and Alec Baldwin.. Also making a cameo and quite credible with his new weight loss Anthony Anderson
Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

I went to see it tonight too (by myself disbelief). It was a pretty good movie. A lot of overacting though. Especially by Jack and Dicaprio. I may be in the miniority but i think Leo is a such an overrated actor. I do not understand why he is thought as highly of as he is. I don't get it.

Matt Damon was really good as was Alec Baldwin. Mark Walberg did a good job too.

The only character i had no use for and who i thought brought the film down was the woman who played the cop therapist. It was a really weak character and she served no real purpose. She was not needed. But if you are gonna have her, get a better and prettier actress. I did not buy that any of the characters would be attracted to her like they were.

It is a good film though.

Saw it this weekend as well. There was only about 15 people in the theater, and it was kind of fun because towards the very end of the movie when all that stuff starts happening, people in the theater were turning around in their seats yelling "can you believe they did that?!" and throwing their hands in the air, LOL.

I didn't care for the accents, especially Leonardo DiCaprios, they sounded forced throughout the movie. But overall the movie was pretty good, albiet a bit confusing trying to keep track of everything. It's also pretty long, like over 2 1/2 hours.

Mark Walberg was great, I wish he would have had more time in the movie, he was a real SOB, LOL.

Jack Nicholson certainly is, at least now in his old age, he plays the same character in every movie, a poorly groomed angry guy with a bunch of snarky one-liners, and psychotic facial expressions.
