has anyone read this astonishing book?

no wonder it won the pulitzer prize in 2001-its fantastic.

I personally didn't like it. I was hoping it would be more about the comic book industry.

you didnt like it because you thought it was a book about comics?

or you read the book and didnt like the book as a work of fiction?

didi you read it all(at nearly 1000 pages its quite a hike!)-its scope is amazing-im pretty mystified how you didnt like it

I read the whole thing. Yes, its scope is huge. Definitely a book to read if you're interested in all aspects of that era.

It just wasn't for me though I guess. I know a lot of people love the book.

I think the reason I didn't like it is the reason a lot of people do like it... its huge scope. I think I'd have preferred a narrower plot... Though I shouldn't have gone in expecting a narrow plot since it was almost 1000 pages. lol
