I will comment later ... taped but have not watched the third episode yet. First two episodes were pretty much amazing.

I hear NBC has ordered a full season of Heroes, the first show of the fall season to get a season-long pick-up. Excellent news NBC!

Claire. I think it was her Dad who helped her int he end. It'll be interesting to see where this show is going. It is 2nd to Lost for me too. BUT the writing is a bit shoddy.

The chic who had to bury those folks in her trunk... Funny, my partner asked "where is her kid...don't tell me he slept through all of that (including the sun coming up)" and right after he asked that the kid awoke from the back. Then she brings him to "grandma" who looks really young and they start to mention her ex husband. Didn't seem too grounded for me. I like her power, but her story needs work.

Oh and the guy that can fly...when he says good bye to the chic with the ailing Dad. It's NYC, people eventually run into each other, see you around" ANd then out of nowhere she is at his Brothers Fund Raiser ???? Was she invited...it's not explained, she is just there. ANd then out of nowhere (well not exactly) he professes his love toward her (I thought she had a BF...the junkie guy).

I like the CHeerleader and The Cop, but Hiro is my favorite. nod

I agree it has flaws. How much of a coincidence is it that Claire is so accident prone? She absent-mindedly sticks her hand down the garbage disposal while it's on, gets tackled at football practice and breaks her neck and then gets impaled in the neck while running away from the quarterback after he tries to rape her. It's one thing if she takes risks knowing she'll always heal, but these things are just happening to her out of the blue. Why doesn't anything happen to the other cheerleaders? lol

Okay after watching it last night and early this morning (hey, I have some other shows to watch!) the entire storyline will unfold over time. Heck, we have an entire season to explore and connect the dots.

I believe the writers and producers of the show are creating some kind of comic book -- as it has been vividly shown the past three episodes. Thry say everything is connected and after the first episode we saw that train of thought is true.

I am wondering about the African-American man in the bar, though. Who is he? Is he associated with Niki the stripper in Las Vegas? Why did the noise in the bar go silent or so (or was it my TV?) when the cop looked at him and tried to read his thoughts?

Wondering if Hiro is going to find a second comic book.

I am also wondering what Las Vegas has to do with all of this? Does everyone converge on the city, a la THE STAND by Stephen King? The show is holding my interest and I look forward to the fourth "chapter," if you will.

As for Claire the cheerleader, I am wondering how long she will have to heal herself. I'm also looking forward to the next time she injures herself.

It's all intertwined and I'm hooked. This has a lighter feel of ALIAS, which had so many black holes to explore as the weeks moved on. HEROES is a keeper and I'm glad NBC has the faith and strength in the creative team to flesh out the storyline. Pure fantasy and I'm am enjoying this ride.

It's an hour-long weekly episodic TV show on the NBC network here in he United States.

Check out 9th Wonders fan site and Heroes on NBC for more. It is basically a twist of Xmen and the like. One of the best new shows to start the new fall season here in the states.

On the NBC.com site you can watch the episodes.

I think what she is doing most of the time like sticking her hand down the disposal was on purpose. The last thing with her getting impaled or whatever by the jock guy was an accident. But she has been trying to prove to herself that she is indestuctable.
