and thanks to luv4u and PurpleThunder. I needed this. Had a shitty night. Because of an eye-problem I spent part of the night in the emergency room. Had to return to the hospital at 10 am this morning, and after some terrifying procedures I could return home, to vote, because it's election-day over here. 
Luckily I'm seeing my best friends this evening, we're going to a restaurant with about 15 people. A quarter of a century.  My childhood feels over.  | |

It was election day overhere last sunday and the results were damn close. These days it's very important to vote and try to make a difference and I am not surprised that you are going to vote no matter what   .

We have to vote in Belgium. And even if I didn't have to, I would. Extreme-right is scaring the shit out of me. I'll tell the eyes-story later on. In need of some sleep now. Shit, that sucks, I so hope your eye is getting better .

... and here's another package of kisses for all other orgers who have wished me a happy birtday, in this thread or otherwise.
My birthday sucked big time at its start, but the end was fantastic. Twelve of my friends were there, listening to my horror-stories (telling about my right-eye that was almost taken out earlier that day) and sharing Spanish food with me. I received a 'strap-on' bra (some strange flesh-feeling object that has glue on it and doesn't need real straps). and a Massimo Dutti-slip, and two pairs of earrings Next to that, I received one cd and two books.
Normally everyone gives me books and music, and this time my presents were so feminine (and sexy???). I wonder if this has to do with the age itself, or just with me as a person, or how others perceive my changing life.  | |
