A really good point to what I was saying can be found on the Mortal Kombat thread. I checked this "new" comming out game, and it isn't even available for the xbox360.

That xbox360 cost alot of money so that I could have one game to play.

Wii cheeper, coolelr controls.

Wii for funtime.

360 for power funtime.

I have a 360, but there aren't any "killer" games for it yet, I do like Dead Rising though, Gears of War should be out next month, but you'll likely finish it in about 10 hours

I should have a PS3 in next month (Japanese import) seeing as it is'nt officially released in the UK until next year (I'll probably get a UK version too )

Wii (aka Gamecube with new conroller) is out Xmas, I think I will pick one up just to see and pass it off as an Xmas present for my neice)

I'm getting the Wii for my boys. They have a PS2, N64, Dreamcast and Gamecube, but are Nintendo fans at heart. Plus, my 10 year old is a MAJOR Mario fan, so I guess it's where your loyalties are.

I am looking into buying on of the new game systems for my son's birthday in January. The last gaming system I bought is Coleco Vision - still in perfect working order. I am an old school gamer. I have three ataris, coleco vision, Adam Computer, and dozens of hand held 80s games.
