I need the room!!

For those that don't know, I have a very large, cedar, walk-in closet. It is the best part of my apartment. I have had it stuffed to capacity with clothes since I moved in. I have a horrible habit of never wanting to get rid of clothes. I always think I'll be able to make something of anything someday. Clothes are really truly the only thing I'm pack-rat-ish about. In fact, I still have a closet and bags full of clothes in storage at my parents house.

Today I decided enough was enough. I'm getting rid of everything too big. If it's in perfect condition it goes in bags to sell or donate and if not it's going in the trash.

I will finally have room for all the new clothes I've bought!!





What are you doing this morning?

Are there skeletons in there?

girl, i am so proud of you. you are just plowing through life these days. its wonderful to see.

We are supposed to get the spring cleaning bug in spring not fall.....

I have a walk-in closet too. I cleaned it a few months ago...and it took damn near three hours. Half of the stuff ended up going to the Salvation Army because I just didn't have a purpose for it anymore. I just had way too much clutter in there. I can actually walk in my closet now.....hence the term.

Today, I went out for breakfast with Mary, and then, despite not really being in one of those moods, I've cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen, taken out the trash, changed my sheets, and, cooincidentally, got rid of some clothes that don't fit, or that I don't need anymore 'cause I don't work in an office ( ).
