PROJECT RUNWAY... thursday watercooler chat. it was just a reunion episode, so i don't have much to say except that i can't believe they didn't put "jubille jumbles" and "fleurchon" in the lingo clips, keith is full of shit with that conspiracy "i threw the books away and then they mysteriously reappeared under my bed" crap, and vincent is a F R E A K.

I'm not a violent person, but I've worked in television 4 13 years and if an on-camera person had dared ever speak 2 me the way that Vincent spoke 2 that producer, that muthaf**ka would b spittin' out his teeth in the unemployment line. Dude, you're a reality show contestant, STFU and enjoy your 15 minutes of artificial fame. Seriously, what an a**hat.
I gotta hand it 2 Keith 4 sticking 2 his story through thick and thin. It almost looked like he actually believed what he was saying. I like looking at every1's make-overs. They finally understand that this contest is broadcast in2 people's home who r looking at them. Malan. Still scary. I still like him, though. I've missed Robert. Tim Gunn is a pimp MF'er and I love him so good. Listen to me on The House of Pop Culture podcast on itunes http://itunes.apple.com/u...d438631917

Keith is just odd - so angry, so full of shit... I think they must have edited out some of his comments b/c toward the end of that segment he was all, "Yea, uh huh!" like he'd told someone off I didn't get it - either the boy is going crazy or they did some serious chopping of him ranting Vincent is such a loser! I miss Kayne & Robert having a bitchfest every day, that shit was funny! Did Michael get invisiline or a retainer or something? What was happening in that grill? Can't wait to see who wins

A lot of us on here have already seen pix of OLYMPUS FASHION WEEK and I think most of us believe they all did a really great job.

i was happy to see that Bradley decided to ditch the scooby snacks shaggy look.
Keith i don't recall seeing pattern making books being banned in the contract. Everyone else: i remember seeing it, yeah me too, it was in big bold letters. Questions: Why does the first person to be kicked off even bother coming back to the reunion? Does anyone else think Vincent got to stick around because he was more interesting than Alician? Should Vincent have won the mom challenge? Do y'all think the producers did that shit 'cuz they knew they'd piss off mad people bringing them back after being tossed off? Heidi: Laura, you're a lot bigger than the last time i saw you Laura: Who the fuck are you calling fat? you fuckin' cow!! i wish i was dressed in all black and the cameras were kind enough to shoot me only from the waist up. Okay, I have to share this story...
background: I don't have cable and thus have never seen as episode of Project Runway. My supervisor and several of my co-workers (girls in their mid 20s) fucking love it. Usually the first 15 minutes of our weekly department meetings are spent with supervisor giving the recap; which I find extremely annoying because I've never seen the fucking show and it's a waste of my time to sit there and listen to them gab away. Here's the deal though...the supervisor is friends with that Tim guy, right? So supervisor's always talking "Tim this, Tim that." and brought us in a Swag Bag from the Project Runway Fashion Week show. We had to have a raffle to see who would get what. I won super sparkly purple eye shadow. Yesterday I'm in my office, on a phone call, and completely swamped with things to do, when my co-worker comes in, interrupts me and demands that I hang up and follow her into a different room. So I open the door to the room and everyone in my department + a different department is standing there with a guy I've never seen before in a suit. I'm thinking, is this a surprise party? My birthday's in May. I have NO idea what the hell's going on. My co-worker says, "That's Tim." I said, "I don't know who Tim is." She whispers, "Tim from Project Runway." And now everyone is looking at me like I should be all so I say, " Sorry I don't have cable. I thought maybe Prince was out here." (b/c of me nominating his Symbol guitar for an award...) So then we gotta get our pictures taken with the guy (and I HATE having my pic taken, it better not show up on the web!), and all the girls and one gay guy who watch are asking him questions for about 30 minutes and I'm bored out of my mind b/c I have no idea who any of the people on the show are. I want desperately to leave b/c I have a shitload of work to do but I can't leave because that would be rude. Then my supervisor, motions to a different co-worker, who is not a celebrity per se, but someone who is in the public spotlight at times, and says, "I'm sure [co-worker] would leave this job in a heartbeat if there was a chance [co-worker] could be on Season 4." <--does anyone else think that's a weird thing for my supervisor to do/say? It might be weirder to you all if you knew who the co-worker is, but unfortunately I can't say that. And [co-worker] was like, "Yeah if you can drop us a hint about when auditions will be that'd be awesome." No real point to the story, but I had to share because you all are so excited, like my co-workers and I'm all, "I don't get it." oh yeah, and since I didn't know any of the people I don't remember any of the "scoop"...one girl asked something about the finale but I don't remember Tim's response. Sorry! . [Edited 10/7/06 17:39pm] The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Jealous much? j/k If it happens again, I'll try to pay more attention...(yeah, right, I won't). The other thing that annoys me about the Project Runway thing is that supervisor is always making snarky comments about my Prince enthusiasm. One time, in front of friends and customers, supervisor said, "Wouldn't it be great if she (me) could channel her enthusiam for Prince into something important like solving the energy crisis?" My friend retorted, "Oh she's already working on that, too." Supervisor considers it okay to talk about television shows constantly--to VIPs, to Trustees, to anyone who will listen; but has the nerve to make fun of my Prince fandom? I don't bring up Prince to anyone that is a customer...only staff, and only when they ask. Sorry...there's a bit more to the my annoyance--I was trying to keep it from becoming a bitch session on my part. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Sorry...there's a bit more to the my annoyance--I was trying to keep it from becoming a bitch session on my part. Tell your co-workers to go somewhere and sit down. I hate people like that. As for Project Runway, that's my show right there and that reunion show was really good. I watched the rerun again this morning and I'm thoroughly convinced that Vincent and Keith must be related because they are both crazy and delusional as fuck. If I had any respect for Vincent, it was thrown out with the trash when he called everybody amateurs. He got some damn nerve and he should have been booted so much earlier than he was (remember that damn ashtray looking thing as a hat with the outfit from early in the season ). I'm looking forward to the season finale. I hope they can get Jeffery's triflin ass out of there. Good or bad designs, he sucks as a person and that's enough for me. I haven't seen any of the pics from Fashion Week so it's going to be a surprise for me and I'm excited. Some of y'all got me worried about Michael but I'm pulling for him and I was too thrilled to see him win the $10,000. I'm just waiting for Wednesday next. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
