I Bartended tonight ! My pops co owns a pub so I bartended for one of his bartenders that called in sick. I worked a 5 hour shift and got a little over 80 bucks in tips. Which made me think that drunk people tip more than sober people. Funny how that works out.  Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

Yeah it was a lot of fun. I had not done it in quite a while and wanted to help my dad out. It was quite loud in the place cause we had an English Premier League game on one of the big screens and the chicago bears game on the other. People love sports and beer! quite fun! The minimum wage here in California is 7.75 per hour. So I made more in tips than in what I would have gotten paid in hourly wages. However its just to help out family. I have a great dayjob! Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

My son just turned 18 and had several administrative jobs at the company I work for (Shell) now this is first job in the catering industry.. 4,50 is abt $6 right? | |

Wow thats great,, but keep in mind I worked a sunday night. The most in tips I've ever made was 320 dollars working a 3 hour shift on St. Patricks day. Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

Plus it helps that your a pretty decent looking woman who is social. Men drink a lot more than women (at least at most bars I've been to) and always tip the ladies better.!~  Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

Bartending is the best "career" I ever fell into!!
