Stroll down memory lane.... I have kept every project, card, note and picture my children have ever done. I decided to update the memory boxes to match the decor switch I made a year ago. So I am going through it all.....
Anyone else do that? I also have a horrid matchies habbit.... From the dishes to the glasses to my car color to the linen... no hodge podge or mismatch... Anyone else suffer from that? . [Edited 10/5/06 8:01am]

i keep all my concert ticket stubs. i usually stash them in a CD by the artist i saw. my mom used to keep all her concert stubs in a little metal box in the kitchen...for a while, she was a concert-going fiend, seeing folks like zappa and the police and alice cooper and iggy pop.

I still have a box of my First Ave ticket stubs from about '90-'94 or so stashed in a closet at my parent's house. |

i only have a handful of memorabilia from my life--most of my baby pictures got lost in between moving (my folks and i moved a lot when i was a kid) and i don't have too many pix of my family, especially of my mom (i only have 2 pix of her, plus her obituary and her work ID from when she worked for the welfare office).
most of my memories are in my head anyway.

Its not material junk. I have despensed of that over the last 5 years. Its the family history in photos to pass to further generations and mementos to pass to the children when they are grown... We will share many a laugh and such over the years of memories... As my mother did with me and hers with us..... If it all burned tomorrow it would be sad but just that. ( The photo archive has been put in several places so its safe)

I love it! | |
