My parents did the best they could and made their choices based on their desire to have happy children

I thank goodnes everyday for all they did and did not do that helped me to lead the life i lead today

About the only thing I'd not do that my dad does is start yelling at my kid and then insist I wasn't mad or raising my voice, even though I was yelling at the top of my lungs.

I will NEVER darn my socks. They cost £2 for 5 pairs in Primark. It's just not worth it

If I have kids, if one throws away a half-eaten apple, I will not take it out of the bin and finish it.

I will learn to work new electrical equipment in the house instead of relying on the kids to fix it every time something goes wrong.
