Particles of blood on the edges of bank notes have been blamed for the increase in Hepatitis C amongst cocaine users. 8 out of 10 people with Hep C don't know they have it.

This comes after a story a few years ago I recall that found 99% of bank notes in London have traces of cocaine on them.

Having worked in a library, I must warn you that those places are among the NASTIEST, GERM-RIDDEN joints on earth! If you must handle a library book, try to wipe it down and/or wash your hands after using it. And NEVER NEVER NEVER let your tiny children put those things in their mouths.

(Incidentally, a man with Hep C pointed out to me that it's a bad idea to share toothbrushes or razors with anybody you wouldn't feel safe having unprotected sex with, because you're taking that kind of risk of contracting Hep C).

Pen caps work great! You can shovel it out or just do little bumps off of em.

I worked at a health fair recently next to an audiologist lady who was checking for wax buildup in the ears.

One lady told her she used a bobby pin to clean her ears. The lady very calmly told her that she didn't think that was such a good idea!
