 Have you crossed the 100 Hour mark?
I did this last time I quit and it helped a lot !! "Quitters Diary" heres a couple of notes from it:- This is from Day 1 - I feel like smashing something !! My head feels awful, like its swimming - pulsating. My brain feels like its going to pop and I am so cold and clammy with sweat. Don’t know if that’s a good thing or not. My forearms feel strange, like they are empty of blood. I am fidgety and edgy, agitated as well. Hopefully going to sleep will help take this away, though I don’t know how I am going to sleep, I feel so damn wound up. If not – Its going to be a long night. 
This is from Day 4 - I drove my partner to work this morning – Through Rush hour traffic – a round trip of 1 hour – It was a test of faith and I passed !! he he. I feel remarkably good. I still have the craves, but nothing in the extreme of that first day. My head is still a little fuzzy, but I guess it will be a while before the whole Nicotine problem vanishes. I could smell a cigarette while in a cue at the Traffic Lights this morning – it didn’t make me feel like having one, though it still smelled good. 
At 4:30pm today it will be 72 Hours since I stopped smoking.....  That's awesome! Yeah, today at 12:30pm it will be 5 full days. |

I can't even be social. now, now it's just a phase...we've "lost" many of our friends for a short period as they quit and they ALL came back once they got thru the worst of it...don't panic, you'll be FINE. In fact you'll be all the better once you get a bit further out. | |

I've been told that the first two weeks are the worst, and that the first month is pretty rough.
You can do it, chickadee. Gum, lozenges, I might go get the inhaler and the patch this week. And I'm not kidding. Or I may just give up cause I'm not sure which is worse for my overall health and well-being, smoking or feeling like this all the live-long day.  |

Feeling like this for a couple of weeks is way better for you than being a smoker forever.
