It's the weekend.Cooking anything good?

I'm roasting a Prime rib 7 pound roast.(rare, med rare) roasted garlic mashed potataoes, beet salad with roquefort cheese, beet greens with balsamic vinegar. Need another veggie....I serve horsesradish and blue cheese on the side for the meat. Ben and Jerry's ice cream for dessert.

What? No goat available?

The middle eastern store where I shop butchers lamb and goat every other thursday. Last night we had fresh lamb chops with rice pilav, Meze (jajik, hummus, tomatoe, feta, olives) and grilled eggplant.

I made chocolate ship cookies yesterday.

And then ate them all. Myself.

I guess I'll make a roast and mashed potatoes or something.

Or maybe not.

Yeah, I'll order a pizza. biggrin

I read your profile. You have different views. Some that are unacceptable.

I believe falafel is Lebonese, Syrian. I make it. It's a good substitute for meat. It's considered middle eastern. It's pureed chick peas with garlic, onion, parsley, cumin, corriander, salt pepper. Make into patties and fry in olive oil. Serve with pita bread.
