I am big boned for two reasons... my gene's (very tall and bigger family) and the chromosonal disorder I was born with has bearing on my bone structure
for those two reasons no matter how much weight I lose I will never be waif-like and always have a stocky bone structure for my height

I am big boned.. hell as a kid, I didnt need to fight, some ppl I could just poke or blow on and they would fall over. lol But I come from a stocky family and we ARE big boned. When I lost weight I went down to 140lbs, and as the doc and my family advised, should I lose any more weight, I would look and become more unhealthy. It just wasnt natural for my frame size. Ah ok, I forgot I was talking with a panel of experts all that stuff I learned in nursing school was just a bunch of bs I am not saying I am an expert, but I do think sometimes too many doctors etc, want to rip apart what is already known and proven to make their own point. Its natural and known there are people with bigger frames (big boned) than others with smaller frames (small boned) For instance Kylie, she is small framed.. now if I were to drop to her size, I would probably be classed as dangerously too thin, and/or anorexic.. we all have different body sizes, and to say we all have the same body fame is ludicruous.

There is a very clear difference between being "big-boned" and being fat. I used to be 2 stone overweight...I've got to the slimmest I can be (I know - I tried starving myself to see if I could get thinner) and I'm still larger than a lot of thin people. That woman is clearly not healthy. That's all I'm saying. And getting a huge fat ass and thighs with zits all on it to appease the taste of a select few individuals is a poor idea. Oh my GODDESS, you people kill me sometimes. Clearly unhealthy? A huge fat ass? What picture are you looking at? That woman looks plenty healthy to me. Okay, her skin ain't perfect. But she's hardly obese. Jesus, go start a pro-skinny thread! We can't have one pro-thick thread without a bunch of sanctimonious speculation about health status and rude puking emoticons? Damn. Okay, rant over. I love you all. But seriously, go look at luv4all7's Paris Hilton pics if this one bothers you so much. The Normal Whores Club

I stopped believing the hype about thin this and thin that... besides full-figured healthy fine size 14-16 or thereabout give of take a size or two is preferred to rib thin or unhealthy fat. It depends on how tall you are too... That's true, I'm a proud full figured 5'9... when I pick up a few extra unwanted pounds it still looks good on me because of my height... Does anyone remember that chic commercial I think it was, all the women wore the same size but were all different shapes? That's was a cool commercial...

Anyway thanks for the concern, but I think most of us have been here long enough to know the difference between a discussion and a full blown flaming argument.. say.. we all did read the rules..

Its funny how its been overlooked that some people have big boobs, others big butts, or big hips.. big thighs etc etc..
Looking at that pic, from the top half she looks great (IMO) and cos she has a big butt alot of you say she looks unhealthy. Come on .. get real.. we all have bits we arent happy with, and who is to say her butt isnt her greatest asset?

Having a fat ass and thighs does not make one unhealthy. Having a fat stomach does.
Women with a waist larger than 35 inches are in serious risk of developing type 2 diabetes and heart disease. For men it's 40 inches.
