Cocane snorters at risk of Hep C from bank notes Particles of blood on the edges of bank notes have been blamed for the increase in Hepatitis C amongst cocaine users. 8 out of 10 people with Hep C don't know they have it.
This comes after a story a few years ago I recall that found 99% of bank notes in London have traces of cocaine on them. My mum always said money was dirty http://news.independent.c...777823.ece Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

Credit cards aren't any cleaner, LOL. What do you think they use to cut the lines with, then lick off the residue.

Wow. How odd.
How long can the Hep C virus survive outside of the body? And where would the blood particles come from? Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

This is tangential, but...
Having worked in a library, I must warn you that those places are among the NASTIEST, GERM-RIDDEN joints on earth! If you must handle a library book, try to wipe it down and/or wash your hands after using it. And NEVER NEVER NEVER let your tiny children put those things in their mouths. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

what kind of world do we live in when it isn't even safe to snort coke any more? Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

Up to about 3 weeks, I think. (Incidentally, a man with Hep C pointed out to me that it's a bad idea to share toothbrushes or razors with anybody you wouldn't feel safe having unprotected sex with, because you're taking that kind of risk of contracting Hep C). oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

It's still not clear how Pamela Anderson got Hepatitis C, and Tommy Lee didn't.

I worked at a health fair recently next to an audiologist lady who was checking for wax buildup in the ears. One lady told her she used a bobby pin to clean her ears. The lady very calmly told her that she didn't think that was such a good idea! My Legacy

Put them in at night, put some tissue on your pillow, and in the morning use the plunger (the one that comes with the drops, not the one by your toilet) to flush them with warm water. My Legacy
