I am going to a carwash that is raising money for a funeral.

One of my students parents died this week. They are having a car wash from 11:00 A.m. Till 5 P.M. I will be going to get my scion washed (even though I just washed it). I think its a damn shame that there is such poverty in this world that a family has to have a car wash to pay for a funeral.
Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

The Funeral business is up there with the pharamcutial industry when it comes to highway robbery.

Cost is out of control.

sad My condolences most truely.

If it isn't too late you the student may be able to get money from the Department of Social Services. Generally they will foot a grand to $1,500.

I just got back from helping out at the carwash. We raised about 800 bucks for a 1200 funeral.
