No..... I've never met her actually.... The closest I've been to her was one time when I was in a supermarket and I saw her shopping there..

Nope.... I've never done that boxed .... I don't recall anyone in my family owning horses...

Hi! I have a few questions:
I think Icelandic is a very cool language. Do you yourself think it's cool?
What's your most favouritest language (if you have one) in the world?
When's the best time to visit Iceland?
biggrin
Well, lucky-lucky us. Lucky-lucky-luck.

If being exclusive is cool, I guess Icelandic is cool... Icelandic is exclusive because it's only spoken by little more than 300.000 people and I know from experience that foreigners that come here to learn the language have a lot of trouble learning the language, especially the complex grammar rules...

My language of choice is English, because I feel I can say stuff in English that would just sound corny or silly in Icelandic biggrin .... However since I met a certain girl few weeks ago, I've become somewhat interested in learning Italian.... I've learned French and beginner's Spanish in school so it shouldn't be very hard for me if I want to...

When to visit Iceland.. It depends on what you want to do.... Most tourists come here during the summer season (May-September), because there are many activites, like driving in the highlands, that are not possible in the winter due to too much snow... Also the weather in the East of Iceland can be very nice in July and August (by Icelandic standards biggrin )... However if you want to experience skiing and snow-related stuff I would recommend coming to Iceland in the early months of the year (January-March)... also I should mention since this period is off-season the rates for accomodation should be somewhat cheaper...

Thanks purplehippie! I would love to visit Iceland (just have to gather som money first). Since I prefer to travel off-season, I'd probably go there in March - still winter, but not too wintery, maybe. biggrin
