If you want to know what I had for dinner, all you had to do was ask. I had a filet mignon medium rare with a shrimp cocktail and a cesar chicken salad along with a delicious 1998 Port Wine. For Desert at Denny's I had German Chocolate cake and hot chocolate. Port is generally drunk as an after dinner drink. A little too sweet for mealtime. The Europeans drink it with a cheese plate at the end of the meal. The older the port, the better. | |

It was the first time in over a year that I didn't feel disappointed at not getting some after a date. I was really happy with the outcome. Weird.

Expensive dates are not nice and simple.  She was probably happy to continue to spend time with someone she enjoyed being with. What's wrong with dessert at Denny's? This is coming from someone who thinks he's not getting sacktime. Lessons to be learned. | |

Denny's is lower on the food chain than Taco Bell or A and W. Ugh. It's garbage. I can't believe someone would be enthused about that. Actually Denny's was the only place open in the area after 11:00 P.M. in the area unless I wanted to go to a fastfood joint. Actually I think the person was more excited to be having a conversation and quality time rather than eating at Denny's. And Spats I'm sorry everyone picks on you. I'm sure your not as ignorant as you make yourself sound out to be, you just like to get a certain reaction, otherwise you wouldn't get into the pattern of making the consistently shocking statements that most people ding you for.  BEAUTIFUL I agree. I just got back from working in Italy the last few days, and what moved me was the romance people simply have for living and sharing without intention, and not always expecting a payback. It is indeed a very beautiful and enriching thing  | |
